Finally a New Post. Several subjects to touch bases on:
1. New Shift- Shift change began last week. What a week I had. I had to work 6 straight days. It was not fun but hopefully it was worth it. Was it worth it? Working Day Shift:
A. I hear a fair amount of bumble jumble.
B. lose shift differential pay which adds up to $150 a month
C. Drive in traffic for about 30 minutes {only}
D. Majority of Overtime slots are for the days I am currently working
On the other hand:
A. I spend weekend time with my Daughter
B. Spend weekend time with Rod.
C. Spend weekend time with my Family
D. Sunrise
No amount of pay will compensate for the quality time I will be spending with my family,daughter, and Rodney. I am now a Morning Person.! If I begin to start with the Bitchy Bumble Jumble just slap me silly and tell me to shut up!
2. My Mini-Vacation to Las Vegas is approaching fast. I can not wait! We are going to have a great time. Perhaps even catch a show. I kind of want to see Bette Milder. I love her voice. I believe she took over Celine Dion's spot. I will be exploring the option of tickets later throughout my day.
3. If I am working Day shift now, What am I doing hear at 0342. Simple Answer, CAD Training. CAD Training has the whole Comm. Center working unbelievable hours. If we are not working our regular shift then perhaps we are Overtime for coverage on CAD Training or in CAD Training. Heaven Forbid someone calls in sick..no luck in finding coverage. That is what I am doing here at this abominable hour. It was not ordered, it was suggested and I accepted. I get off at 1400. Yay! I have lots to do, like go to HOMEGOODS!
4. This past weekend was the BEST! Nothing Major or exciting happened. I spent the weekend with my daughter. We shopped, talked, made dinner, watched a movie. Just basically hung out without me having to rush her back to MOM's for homework or so i can go to work. Having weekends off is the Best!

Vern- just because your working days for the past week does not entitle you to be labeled a 'morning person'. Im so glad that you get to start spending time w/your daughter and family...i too, cant wait to hang out w/my son and fam bam!
yes, friend, you are right. no amount of $$$ is more important than spending time w/ your baby girl. especially, since she's so grown up now! oh...i love bette! i can't wait 'till u go..take lots of pics!!!
